News \ EOScale and SLURP available on github.com
SLURP had been presented at IGARSS 2024 (Athens, Greece) in a "Remote Sensing in Land Use Applications" oral session. The presentation focused on an original algorithm for low & high vegetation detection from a single VHR optical image, based on clustering and segmentation.
This algorithm had been implemented in SLURP and relies on EOScale to improve computing capabilities (enable efficient multiprocessing in Python).
EOScale and SLURP had been pushed on github.com, under an Apache 2.0 Licence. The core developments will be done on gitlab.cnes.fr but principal versions will be pushed regularly on github :
A "getting started" page will soon be contributed to SLURP (small dataset, instructions to compute masks..).
Stay tune on PLUTO to get more information about the project !
