Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of stereo imaging can be helpful to understand how two images taken from different angles can be used to extract depth information.

Experience with Rasterio and NumPy will be helpful but not mandatory.

Motivation

The Introduction and basic usage notebook provides an introduction to the use of Pandora for stereo-restitution. It guides the user to set up and run a stereo matching pipeline, including :

  • Pipeline configuration: Definition of processing algorithms and parameters for the different pipeline steps (aggregation, filtering, validation, ...)

  • Running the pipeline: Launch of the stereo-restitution process using Pandora.
